Kicks off Friday, June 10, and runs about a week or so behind the Copa America.

Who is your favorite? Who might surprise?

Also some interesting friendlies going on during the lead up to the tournament, including England-Portugal right now.

i may be in the minority but i think there is no clear cut favorite....everyone has either injuries or players out of form....still hope that makes it an exciting tournament.

I agree no clear cut favorite. I root for France and they did not call Benzema. I think a lot of people are underestimating Spain because of 2014 but I think they will go deep.

i think not having a reliable striker can hurt them deeper in tournament.

France, Spain, and Germany are the favorites pre-tournament. Will be interesting to see the tournament with more teams involved, hopefully see a few upsets here and there to add to the excitement. Hoping Germany win since I am a DFB fan, but also want Ireland to do well too.

Also, I will be attending the Ireland v. Italy game with the girlfriend on the 22nd. Come on you Boys in Green!!

France, Germany, and Spain are favorites. Watch out for the Red Devils (Belgium) even though their coach is shit.

I also think England can make some noise with their younger players like Kane, Vardy, Ali, that kid from Man U.

I'm gonna be a romantic and say that England will make a deep run.

Good joke. Tell me another one.

Well I drew Iceland in my office's sweepstake, so when England get knocked out in the group stage I know who I am rooting for.

I'm supporting Ireland & Wales as a result of my family heritage (honorable mention to Scotland which did not qualify).

When the US is not involved, I root for the Anglosphere, with occasional nods to my origin countries. With Poland sharing a GK with Swansea I have an extra interest in them here.

Yeah, honestly, I love that they've added teams to the tournament this year and I'm most interested in how the "smaller" sides do. I think Iceland may surprise people.
Yep, definitely! If for no other reason than teams can't mark up against them because they can't tell each other whom they're covering because they can't pronounce the names - when gasping for air, the right side CB can't come close to saying, I've got Sigþórsson - you take Vilhjálmsson - but watch out for Heiðar Þorvaldsson overlapping.
