I think I have my week numbered correctly. Hard to tell with MLS!

Big big week - huge.

We lead things off on Friday with a must win at home against Chicago.

Saturday brings crucial contests between the other 4 teams in contention for top spots in the East.
5pm - Toronto hosts Philly
7pm - New Jersey hosts Montreal

Saturday night also features a contest between two teams battling for the last playoff spot in the East as Orlando visits DC (also at 7pm). The West leaders Colorado and Dallas are both on the road that evening at Vancouver and Real Salt Lake.

Sunday brings a fun matchup as Seattle visits LA on ESPN at 4pm - Donovan will be there, but will Dempsey?
Then there is a 7pm snoozer on Fox as New England visits Columbus.

Agree with you on the Sunday night snoozer, but that match could end up having massive playoff implications in it as well. Revs currently hold the #6 spot for the playoffs, but if Columbus wins that, they're back in the thick of things. Imagine if DCU-Orl ends in a draw and Columbus beats NER, you would be looking at:

#6 NER - 36 points and 3 games remaining
#7 DCU - 35 points and 4 games remaining
#8 ORL - 35 points and 4 games remaining
#9 CLB - 32 points and 5 games remaining

#6 NER - 36 points and 3 games remaining
#7 DCU - 35 points and 4 games remaining
#8 ORL - 35 points and 4 games remaining
#9 CLB - 32 points and 5 games remaining
Given that the most likely outcome is that we play the #6 in the first round, it is a bit discouraging that we've looked anywhere from mediocre to poor against all of those teams in the past five weeks. At least three of those four performances were on the road and we'd be at home this time. Sort of wonder if we should root for Montreal to keep tanking and just squeak into the #6 spot. Oh well -- lots of time between now and then.

I think some of that is our guys playing down to their opponents. Hopefully, that changes since our last 4 games are against teams ranked nos. 20, 18, 15, and 19 in the Supporters' Shield standings.

My MLSLive subscription is going to pay for itself from 5-9pm tonight. I love this part of the season as I actually get really into other MLS matches!

The Toronto match is a dilemma for me. I'd love to see Philly win so we can still win the East, but the pragmatic side of me wants either a Toronto win or even a draw so we can pretty much assure that Philly won't be able to sneak past us if we don't take care of business in the last few matches. The pragmatic side of me will STFU at 7pm as I want to see Montreal smash NJ! The Orlando/DC match is also pretty intriguing so I will probably put that one in the PIP and switch back and forth.
The NE/Columbus match tomorrow is fairly interesting as well, but I don't think I'll care enough to watch those two boring teams in that dumpy stadium.

Philly win. Worry about the next few weeks later but solidify our points from last night with a Toronto loss.

If anyone cares to watch Montreal vs. Red Bulls is on MSG+ (48 for me on TWC Northern Manhattan). MSG is showing WNBA basketball.

If brilliant and PV got post match reds for whatever they said, altidore should also for that display.

How could Altidore not get a post-game red card?!?! He went ballistic. PV and Chanot got fcked.

Union can't do shit. Tie 1-1 and a controversial call in the box for a Union free kick rather than Toronto Pk in the final seconds of the game.

Come on Montreal. ALLEZ LES BLEUS! That Chelsea magic better be in Drobga tonight as it wasn't present at the Emirates vs Arsenal today.
