Just matches what I’ve seen with my own eyes. Quality of MLS is much higher than just 3 years ago. Not just an incremental change, but a revolutionary one.
Imagine if we could put out teams in mid-season form that qualified off last season, instead of 3 squads just off pre-season and a wooden spoon candidate.

This is awesome. Mexico is not very happy about last nights results. Hopefully the MLS sides finish the deal next week. (Excluding the Red Bull’s of course. May they crash out in the worst way possible.)
Nice to win 3 games, but Seattle and TFC both won by a single goal and TFC let up an away goal. It's the bare minimum of positive results that we could have seen for a home match. Red Bulls are in a much more cushy position. They basically just have to avoid losing my 3 at home.
These are really good results. All three teams have to be favorites to advance (which is different than saying all three will pull it off).

You also have to like where TFC and Seattle are. They each won, which means a draw in Mexico lets them advance. Seattle also has a clean sheet, so if they can score in Mexico, then Chivas needs to win by 2 goals. And 1 away goal isn't terrible for Toronto have conceded. If they can get one goal in, they are in good shape. If they get 2 goals in, they are in great shape.

You might mistake it for a defensive set up, but it’s Looking like a very attack minded 5-4-1 on the field.
