NYCFC Players Wanted Thread

Also, this guy is a Serie A striker probably looking for a new home, at least on loan

Genoa has a stable of very young strikers that are getting most of the minutes, including Sanabria on loan from Betis since 2 weeks ago. That loan indicates Lapadula is probably 3rd or 4th in the pecking order. He is a Serie B lifer who was the top scorer in Serie B in 2015/16. Bought by Milan, played passably for them in 2016 and got a couple caps with the NT but has since reverted to form. Pescara wants him back in Serie B. Very strong physically, durable, solid. True 9.

Seeing Saints might let Charlie Austin go, I think he would do pretty well in MLS

He'd be a perfect candidate as an mls striker. Physical with some pace and on the younger side with some experience. That's a good call on your end. See him wanting to stay in Italy though. Plus I think MLS front offices are looking more to the south.

I’m assuming City spent $7 million on a player that’s better than the player we are getting.

Saw this on Instagram:

"According to an inside source, NYCFC are interested Ferencváros and Hungarian national team attacker Roland Varga. The 29-year-old has played for Ferencváros since 2015, scoring 36 goals in 108 appearances. He also has 13 goals in 13 appearances for the Hungarian national team. "

Transfermarket lists him as a winger so he seems like our type.
