I've been wondering about that myself. I think there's a stand of trees just off the picture to the right separating Field No. 10 from the Golf Center, so I don't know if there's enough room for a full grandstand like on Icahn itself. But maybe.

There's a little room off the end of the pitch, too. It might be possible to build some kind of L-shaped seating.
I think it also depends on how soon we are making this our home. If it’s in the next few weeks then chances are we’re taking the current field/stand. I don’t see them building a 10k+ stand in a matter of weeks.
How many views are we at now? ;)
I can’t tell on my phone. It doesn’t expand past 1m :/

So we’re at 1.2m I edited some code and it shows the exact number of views now. I can always change it back if y’all aren’t a fan of that.
wait where can you see number of page views?

I have a feeling it'll be starting next season.

Well, now I guess it's happening…

On the main page for this section where you go to select a thread. Go horizontal on your phone and it’ll show page views.
We had a bit of downtime after I changed the setting which may be due to so many more requests for update being sent to server. If it continues happening I’ll have to change it back so keep me updated if y’all encounter downtime.

I'm sure you're right about that. I highly doubt they could even get the paperwork and permits done that quickly, let alone level the ground, etc. Any kind of move would have to happen next season.

To be honest, I'm not convinced it could work at all, even with all the grunting and straining and sweat. But hey, it's always nice to contemplate leaving RBA for good no matter what the circumstances.

I'm on my laptop and as far as I know I've always seen replies and views on the list. I know I always do on the Big Soccer forum, similar format.

Btw (and I know everyone knows this), the numbers on Stadium Discussion thread dwarf any other: Replies: 20,726 | Views: 1,246,329

Think we've been anxious for our own park?

Huh, interesting. I don't use mobile for this site, but I found it on desktop. Never noticed it before, to be honest! lol

Yeah you’ve always been able to see the replies and views but until the recent change it would just show 1m for the views. So we were wondering what the exact number was and I made a change in the code to show it.

I take this ^ above to mean they will announce they are constructing a stadium at Icahn. With no resolution on anything else long term

I wonder if they do this, it would be a stadium for NYCFC II, and maybe NYCFC will play Open Cup and other schedule conflict games like CCL there.

USL 2 teams play in that field from time to time. I am sure it will not go unused. even if nycfc main team get their own stadium (hope someday).

I think that kinda space would be better for the Jets or Giants (most likely the Jets who have been looking to get back in the city).

It's a pretty bad spot but at least has a subway connection. It's a spot of last resort imo.

Horse race tracks are such a massive waste of space.

I think we'd have a lot of trouble drawing there. It's not really easy for anyone who doesn't live within 5 miles.
There is a subway stop. Not ideal I agree but beggars can't be choosers. And LIRR Jamaica stop isn't too far away, albeit you need to make a transfer.

EDIT: Looking at the map of the subway again, nope, its not close if you take the subway.

But there is an airtrain service that goes to Howard Beach, and I think you can ride that from Jamaica all the wau to Howard Beach and transfer to A.
