Kreis Officially Out At NYCFC

Is this standard for CFG? How many head coaches has Man City had since they bought the team?

The defense was terrible, Villa disappeared for large part of games; but as they say "ya can't fire the whole team" I just don't want a "name" retread as Head Coach

So if he coaches in MLS next season for a different team and they are playing NYCFC at Yankee Stadium do I boo him? Thank him? Don't say anything?

I'm very curious to hear Kreis's perspective on this. But I wonder if we ever will. Barring "losing the dressing room" or a really fantastic replacement already lined up, I don't like this move. (Maybe a minority view around here) But time will tell. Here's hoping.

Good! Glad NYCFC has balls. I'm usually not for getting rid of a coach so fast, but he was beyond incompetent. This sparks so much hope for next season, and it tells me that NYCFC won't settle for mediocrity.
Yes they will, get real. Who do you think they'll get to replace him?

"Prior to the start of the season, it was agreed with the coaching team that securing of a playoff place was an appropriate target for this year. A win rate of less than one in three games and a points tally which was the second lowest in the league is clearly not in line with the targets that were agreed. "

There you have it. That's what I'm talking about. No reason why this team couldn't make the playoffs. Kreis didn't perform based on what was agreed to before the season. Goodbye!
