So did Chanot actually hurt him, or just unlucky circumstances?

Sucks how little we have seen of him

Now we have another need in the summer transfer window. I assume we don’t get cap relief here either?

We need:
CB #4 (or let sands play when needed)
A true #8, unless dome has other plans.
A Starting LB.

It’s not that bad a List, but not sure about cap room and GAM available.

We have a serviceable LB. We need another legitimate scorer. It ain’t Medina, so after Villa and Isi, we have Maxi, who’s been outperforming his expectations, so a third forward scorer would be nice. Disregard if Berget and Lewis start to register goals.

I think 2 top of the league level scorers is enough. Medina, maxi, Lewis can combine for the rest. I’ve given up on Berget. Next season we can focus on that. If anything we can try to find an 8 who can score. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. And I don’t consider Sweat as equal talent to the rest of our lineup. He’s #11 out of all our starters unless Tummy is out there.

Well, he wasn’t injured before the US Open Cup and even when Chanot got a red card in the first match vs Kansas City, Hountondji didn’t beat about Ibeagha for the starting spot. And he never got a start thereafter either.

Maybe the best thing about his signing was that it shows Ibeagha is a value player in MLS with the ability to be a starter in this league.

Between Berget and Cedric we've just shed over $1.3mm in cap space over the weekend on 2 players who didn't really contribute. Impressive. But now we need to spend it elsewhere.

He was injured during the preseason that kept him out of a few games. Did not make the 18 for the opener against SKC as he was not fit yet. He first made the 18 in the home opener as Chanot was unavailable and there were no other CBs on the roster besides him and Ibeagha.
