Hey, what's the story behind that new avatar?
As the originator of this thread, it pains me to see it in its current state.
I started this thread in search of other swag obsessed aficionados seeking out the latest and greatest NYCFC swag.
To see it degenerate into the Tony Baloney Gray Knight EBay Account thread grieves me deeply. I urge the Mods to take the necessary action and restore the New Swag thread to it Original Glory (OG....see what I did thar!).

I used this picture as an in memoriam for a friend i used to go to the games with. If you look closely you can see one of the original NYCFC posters in the background.
Well 95% of the so-called "latest and greatest NYCFC swag" is absolute crap! Seems like a LOT of the NYCFC fan-boys enjoy wearing that crap. Why is that I don't know, bad taste perhaps. Or we'll some just buy anything with a damn logo on it. I only rock Black and Gray! But it seems like everyone else likes other stuff such as T-shirts with multiple colored logos plastered all over it from what I see. Just because you stick a logo on something doesn't make it cool. Like I previously said, feel free to do your own research on what's out there and to find out what's coming out in the future.
Or you can go totally old school and bye a white T-shirt and get a black sharpie and write or draw whatever you want on it to your hearts content. Or you can buy this pigeon patch and iron it on your T-shirt for all I care, whatever floats your boat.
And for the Gray fitted hat that everyone seems to be jonesing, I guess your just going to have to wait.
I'd appreciate any new NYCFC scarves you have images of...

I'm going to try and limit myself to only 10 new scarves this season. Not buying this one. If the New York City FC on the adidas side was horizontal as when worn, maybe I would buy it.

i got mine at adidas store...interesting, the jacket was one size smaller than usual. but then with authentics i need one size larger than usual. its a guessing game with me and adidas products
I figured it's the jacket they wear when they are listening to / singing the national anthem.
Too easy to be true surely .
That was a guess I had as well, and came to the same "too easy" conclusion. We also have travel jackets and warm-up jackets, and do teams really switch into these just for the anthem? Further, non-US clubs have them, call them anthem jackets, and most sports leagues outside the US do not play their national anthem before sporting events. It also seems to be just a soccer thing.
Me want, but at 30% off. Can some eagle-eyed forum member be sure to post when fanatics goes on sale?
If they did, they actually be using this thread for what it was meant for.
