Am I the only one getting 2-3 spam calls in Chinese to my cell every day?

It's starting to get annoying. A co-worker that speaks Cantonese says they all have something to do with my passport information!

I got one yesterday. My wife used to get these a lot. She started call them- all the time. I mean repeatedly calling them all day.

They never called her again.

Yeah, I got one a few weeks back that left a (pre-recorded and repeating) voice mail message. I tried to run it through google translate to see WTF they were saying but it wouldn’t work. For all I know, playing that damn thing lojacked my phone with a key-logger.

If anybody figures out what they’re saying, I’m all ears.

I've gotten a few on my work phone but not so frequently.

Ha, so I get these calls from unknown numbers all the time and i let it hit ring till they hang up or let it hit my voicemail ( like garbowski said, don't validate your existence to them). Anyway, sometimes they do leave me a voicemail and i like to check it to see what flavor it is. god knows i love to hear my local police are coming to arrest me for tax evasion (How did they figure me out i was so careful?!). But sometimes its these chinese robot spouting something which to my ear sounds like it a short message on repeat. I have no idea what it is, but i like to pretend I am a sleeper agent and they are trying to activate me. Makes me feel important :tearsofjoy:.

Man, you’d think that the calls would have slowed down or stopped after the huge news coverage of them, but nope, just got another voicemail message of recorded mandarin(?) from a spoofed Philadelphia phone number.

How can you be sure that it's not a legitimate problem with your Chinese passport?
