I think it’s a bad decision and he’d get to a better job more quickly working his way up at Melwood.

I think a lot of it is going to come down to what kind of budget they can give him to work with. It's amazing how far not only Rangers but all of Scottish football has fallen since I started watching (mid 90's) I remember Rangers having players like Gazza, Brian Laudraup, Ronald De Boer etc. and the other lot had Henrick Larsson and Chris Sutton etc. right now I'm not even sure Rangers squad as is would finish in the top half of the championship.

I watched a lot of rangers when Hyndman was there. That league is not good.

The club is in financial disarray. But will still end up 2nd.

Pretty satisfied with him so far. Rangers had to deal with a BS 10th minute redcard and six minutes of second half stoppage time that essentially gifted Aberdeen an undeserved point to open the season. A draw in the situation is highly frustrating but showed that the team under Gerrard can deal with adversity and I'm expecting a good season.
