2018 Forum H2H League & Pigeon Cup

I have $8.7M in unspent funds this week.
$8.6m for me... and it feels like I'm doing something incorrect

Pack your bench with players who will still perform well to increase your budget for next week. I have some absolute starters on the bench just because of matchups.

Then again, I’m doing terribly this season, so who knows.

LionNYC LionNYC serious question, where do you keep all your scarves?

I have a dresser in my room. It's not a typical dresser with deep shelves. It's more of a built in unit with different spaces to put stuff. These are six mini shelves and one longer mini shelf. I have one of these mini-shelves and half of the long shelf that occupy scarves. Scarves are folded in half then half again. Three columns per shelf. Rows or about 8-12 depending on the scarf material.

There are also two scarves that I have out on my desk that are dedicated for home and away matches. I'm only wearing those two this season. And there's a third, a Star Wars NYCFC scarf, that my dad gave back to me after I gave it to him as gift.

Am I playing the #1 team in the league in the cup the same week I’m playing the #12 team in the league?

I expect you’re right, but I don’t think the rules are clear on this point, and they’ve made odd choices before.
A little birdy told me they might be removing locking rosters all together; you can now pick your team after everyone played. Also they are giving you 300mm budget and telekinetic powers to anticipate your opponents every move. The reason they didn't roll it out week 1 is cause they were worried that budget was too much and might break the game so they eased into it.

My source is usually super reliable; I'd trust him.

Good lord I just realized I have 4 Quakes in my fantasy lineup

Desperately trying to clinch an 'At Large' bid for the Pigeon Cup. Super tough year this year.

The final round of the Pigeon Cup before our lengthy World Cup break is over and it was a real coop buster.

Group C

Rimil Rimil Malinska was the high scorer in Round 3 of the Cup and cruised to a 107-87 win over Funky Cold Jesus Medina. The Group of Death lived up to its billing once again as the closest and highest scoring match of the round was Welcome to the Zungul finishing this part of the Cup unbeaten by eking out a 102-97 win over Quite Really Pleased

Welcome 9pts 361
Malinska 6pts 333

9 Points will probably be enough to advance to the knockout round so everyone is still in the running. Going into the break the seeding is:

5) Malinska
6) Ditmas

These aren’t accurate. I have a DNP player in my lineup but the system isn’t making the auto sub after the fact. I should have 73. Still not leading the points for the week. But still, wait until the system settles everything.
