Cityzens Portal

i have been trying to disconnect from twitter on my cityzens account for a few weeks now and the site doesnt seem to allow me to do it. I click the "disconnect from twitter" button but nothing ever actually happens. I no longer have the account that was originally associated with it so its very annoying.

UPDATE: i contacted my ticket rep and she said at this time its not possible to disconnect on my own. She is contacting the website administrator to disconnect it for me.

If you want a 2' x 3' canvas photo of David Villa celebrating with Shelton, Taylor and Bravo, then this week's Cityzen's auction is for you. Going cheap at the moment. Auction ends at noon.

Anyone ever done the prematch pen pass to watch the team warmups? Was thinking about getting one for my friend's birthday but is it even any good?

We did it for a game last year. It's fine if you get there in plenty of time, but if not you'll be behind a bunch of people right up at the cordon who aren't moving at all. And I don't think the players give you any special attention, so if you're used to being a tier or so up, it's just nice to be close to the field.

Basically free too.

Won something a week ago and I haven't heard boo, what's the usual process for collecting a city point purchase?

It's disappointing that they haven't upped the quality and stuff available via Cityzens points as the have repeatedly been touted as one of the primary upsides to season tickets when people complain about these new discounted packages. One would think that would be a pretty simple response.

You’re talking about a program that had a used shower mat as a prize. Anybody that thought that would be sought after1 is not going to be creative with stuff that’s actually worthwhile.

1 Sorry FredMertz FredMertz didn’t mean any disrespect towards your bath mat.

It wasn't a shower mat -- just The little rug that was in front of their locker. Definitely nothing that was every in a shower.

That would be weird...

Your point of information has been accepted and I stand corrected.... it’s still in the category of what-the-fck-weird-type items.

My "that would be weird" was meant to stand in contrast to the very, very weird thing that it actually was!

The city points and “picking your seat” is literally their response.

The other one is that it doesn’t impact the secondary market because they only release the actual seat location 4 hours before.

An organization so goddamned stupid as to believe or assert that explanation regarding not impacting secondary markets isn’t one I can talk to as intellectual equals.

So I said thanks for the free food. Fuck off for not giving me back appropriate money.

See you in the funny papers. When I’m holding half the season tickets.

They are clueless twats. They try. But @mharbowski has it nailed. They are easily identifiable as a fake ass org.

It was weird. Almost as weird as your defense of their very anti-consumer behavior.

CFG is really poopy. I hate them for their opacity, their bilking of every last dollar, their insistence of not changing my newly obstructed seats for months and not refunding the difference when I immediately asked to move or cancel and charging me full boat for 2 more months.

To anyone considering, DO NOT buy a season ticket unless you’re a hard core masochist. I don’t even think the kind of fucking we get is legal in American porn.

Fuck a CFG.

At the risk of being even more semantic than usual, I'd say I wasnt defending their behavior as much as saying that that behavior has been transparent and consistent with most other consumer entities.

None of us shmoes that bought season tickets this year can be surprised that they have discounted tickets when they've done that pretty regularly in the past and attendance has been steadily declining.

The StubHub deal is the real bad faith effort -- never believe anyone thatthat restr your choices and tells you it's for your benefit.

Also, the Friday night news dump of the new netting.

And the screwing us out of City Points if we use the ticket swap program.

And I guess implying that there would only be 400 Villa pins when there were likely in the thousands.

And the used car salesman practice of writing your season tickets as a monthly payment to obscure the per game price as much as possible. Never be a payment buyer!

And the lack of a stadium.

Boy is there going to be a reckoning this off-season in the ticket office...
