im out here in vegas playing a pool tournament and juggling work and matches. timezones are blending and i have been having a hell of a getting players swapped by kickoff on a tiny phone screen. Finally something breaks my way. I have been having a wretched time in fantasy since leading early on

Sorry I was driving back from North Carolina yesterday.

In Group A Berget's Beard beat Choo Choo Hat 133-110 and in the closest match of the week Ariaga II beat Benedico Pluvias 129-118. Final Group A standings are:

Berget 15pts 626 (X) (Y)
Benedico 9pts 605 (X)
Ariaga 9pts 556 (X)
Choo Choo 3pts 383

In Group B 3 Piece Suit Ultras beat Ditmas 144-69 while SoupInNYC beat NYCFC Forums 127-62. Final Group B standings are:

but but but I leapfrogged! I did it by eye so I could be wrong, but I thought I jumped to 2nd in my group and 4th overall. To be fair, I don't see any advantage going from vs Berget to vs ultras, but its a point of pride. My rudimentary analysis says you gave pineapple 3pts in a loss. Now watch me have a a winning score vs Berget but lose to Ultras for opening my big mouth.

You are absolutely right about leapfrogging to 2nd in the group and 4th overall.

You are absolutely wrong about there being no advantage to matching up against 3 Piece Suit Ultras instead of Berget's BadAss Beard.

Is the first knockout round this week? I don't feel right about using Red Bull players in a double game week for them against us.

It is supposed to be this week according to the schedule I put together months ago, but I hate this week more than any other ever. With NJRB as the only team with a DGW, the smart play is to use 4 spots on them. If there is consensus to skip this week and go to weeks 27, 29 & 30 that would be great (Week 28 is too weird and too many of us will be making the same plays).

Frankly I hate this game since the break. As soon as I lose in the Cup I might be done.

The kharma of putting RB players into our fantasy teams to win the Pigeon Cup is just wrong. The new knockout round schedule is:

Week 27 Quarterfinals
Week 29 Semifinals
Week 30 Finals

This is the worst week of the fantasy season.

This also includes a permanent ban on posts concerning what would have happened had we kept the schedule as is. There's always one. :)

Why is that DraftKicks a-hole in our league every year? Is there no way to prevent him from joining?

My apologies if he's actually a guy on this board, but otherwise why the F does he want to be in a league with people he has no relationship with?

SOrry -- he's in the points league, not the H2H. Shuyler Redpath -- he's a fantasy writer for MLS.com and joins our league each year. He's very good at fantasy MLS as it's his job and he dedicates much time to it.
