I can't quit you, EA Sports.
Anyone digging into this iteration yet?
Considering starting to play FUT because I can't win a Seasons game because I'm Level 64.

It just came out for the Switch before the weekend and I'm considering getting it. Is there a "playing a game to have fun playing soccer" mode or do I need to become a professional gamer to enjoy it at all?

If you enjoy playing against CPU it’s a fun game. If you try online you’ll hate it.

What NYCFC_Dan NYCFC_Dan said... Don't play online and you'll mostly have a great time. Start out on Amateur or Semi-Pro difficulty.
Thanks, folks. Purchased. Now I just have to wait until I get home before I can give it a try.
play on world class until you win games like 3-0 religiously, then go online.
Well, give me until the mid-winter doldrums and I may be there by then. Maybe.

only takes a week or two to be honest. you start to pick up ways to keep the ball and the sense of direction of passes. you could try starting at professional difficulty, but that usually doesn't last long for a challenge

fuck this game to hell
People seem to really like the Division Rivals mode. I haven't tried it yet... still building my first attempt at a FUT squad offline first.

That said, consensus on Reddit seems to be that you shouldn't play on a difficultly level above Professional if you want to avoid massive AI cheating.

i honestly only play pro clubs. i play that too often to even attempt any other modes. But i feel while this game fixed some things, they also took things there was nothing wrong with and broke them.

Now that I've finally experienced the hilarity of having a player make a run into the box and get dragged back out of it by a mysterious unseen force, I can give up on ever believing FUT 19 is anything other than total bullshit and have fun running a team of all USA players.

Here's the USMNT squad I'm running. There is no escape from Michael Bradley.

Spoiler alert: this team is really, really bad. Slow, can't score on an open net, can't complete passes. It's pretty hilarious.
