NYCFC Players Wanted Thread

Looks like he's the guy who was brought in to replace Nikolic when he was transferred to the Fire?

If they can negotiate that down such that he can be brought in on TAM, that would be incredible.

i really dont know how it will work, the spanish report says he was bought by his current team for 1.5M, i dont think they gonna go that low.

24 goals in 36 games in the polish 1st division, garnering the player of the year award last year and getting rewarded with a transfer to Legia.

His current season is also going well - could be a really solid under-the-radar addition if we can negotiate a deal that’ll fit under our cap.

There were rumors that the TAM limit might be increased too. $1 million per year might not be the cap anymore.

Anyone have any idea how this could possibly fit cap-wise?

TAM limit is $1.53mm (American) per annum (salary & acquisition costs amortized over the life of the K).

4 year deal gives you $6.12mm to spread out over the term. Let’s say we reduce the buyout to $2mm, then we can pay him $1.03 pa for 4 years and use TAM.

I look forward to everyone complaining about Jon Lewis not getting playing time when mitrita moves out to the wing
Does Mitrita track back on defense or does everybody just assume he does? I look forward to everyone calling for his benching when he the wingback on his side bombs forward and he doesn’t track.

Did I do that rite?

According to Transfermrkt, he was purchased for €450,000 last July. You have to think we can knock down considerably from the €2.5 million buy out clause.

Wow I've been misinformed for the last year. Did it switch to $1.53mm ahead of the 2018 season?

At the beginning of last season, the TAM limit increased from a flat $1 million to $1 million over the max salary, which was right around $503K at the time. The max salary bumps up about 5% each year - same as the salary cap. This coming year, it should be somewhere in the neighborhood of $530K.
