I am a big fan of the "casual look" and attitude. I was thinking that for away days, we can take this look and bring something the MLS dose not have. lawson lawson is a big proponent of this, and I would call the authority on the matter.

there are MLS supporters that go with the Casual look, Garden State Ultras for one

Even though I love the game and are knowledgeable about it, Im very green when it comes to MLS.

I am curious about how others think about this, or would they rather, wear colors and jerseys?

I like this idea. I think it would be cool to go casual. It will take people by suprise when we burst into song and support for the away team. Soon home teams won't know what to expect when NYCFC comes to town. Maybe we whip out a supporters flag/banner once inside.

Also seems to pay tribute to firms in England that like to be anonymous to rivals/police (so I've heard)-not that it matters to me.

This idea seems like good fun. Count me in.

I am a big fan of visuals so I would go in hard with colors. The ideal would be like Dortmund's yellow wall. Plus, I don't want to hide my support, everyone should know I am NYCFC proud.

What if we go in as casuals and sit together so people don't expect anything. Right before the game start we bust out our colors/banners/flags and sing a song. Would be a powerful effect invading their stadium "by surprise."

Meh, the idea doesn't really do anything for me. Part of it is that the whole casuals thing was a way for hooligans during the bad old days to hide from police. Maybe hide is the wrong word, but it gave them plausible deniability. Either that or fans there for a good day out would hide their colors so they wouldn't get jumped. It just feels like going backwards to me to aspire to a scene that was about fear and intimidation. Obviously your mileage may vary..
