Fun game, good crowd as usual. Seattle wins 2-1 to make the Western conference race very interesting.

Portland has so many quality MLS players. They really under-perform for the time they've been together.

Nagbe, Adi, Valeri, Urruti, Fernandez, Chara, Villafaña...

Portland will make the playoffs I think but will be shown the door soon after, probably.

I was watching the Portland-Seattle match, but I turned it off when the Sounders were awarded that PK.

I have no dog in that Cascadia fight and despise it when I surf the 'net and see fans of losing teams always blaming referees, but a call like that one is the type you should lose your job over.

And in the follow up to MLS Rivalry Week, Red Bull Arena is empty for their match against DC.
Reckon that Groupon thingy didn't go too well for them.

Empty seats in the first rows. Guess they weren't part of the Groupon.

What's more telling is that the few fans that did attend tonight are leaving early. When the Yankees are beating the Red Sox 9-0 in the Bronx, you stay until the final pitch.
