Why the hell do we get blacked out of MLS Live matches because of Unimas? Not interested in A) trying to find that channel B) trying to get it to display subtitles C) hearing the fucking commentators say "gooooooooooooooooall."

I pay money for MLS live only to get blacked out by fucking Unimas. Fuck that.

Almost as bad as some shitty little baseball kids eating into our airtime.

I know people have said there's an English language setting for this channel, but I have not been able to find it.

Watch it on unimas. Thankfully because I'm up north, I don't have that problem.

Point Of Information
MLS has a national television contract with Univision to broadcast weekly games on Friday nights.
As such, those matches are blacked out on MLS Live, same as ESPN and FS1 games.

In order for English-language audiences to be able to "access" UniMas/UDN broadcasts, Univision agreed to use additional presenters who comment on the matches in English via SAP audio. Your ability to receive that audio is dependent on your cable company's competence in transmitting that audio.

Your mileage may vary.

Which cable/satellite service do you use? I can get the English commentary no problem, though it's so bad you're better off listening to the Spanish.

Not really sure why a Spanish language channel is trying to broadcast in English. It's a fucking disaster.
As a native Spanish speaker I just listen to the Spanish language broadcast.

And yet I rather listen to them than try than listen to the English butcher Spanish names.

even though i dislike univision team commentators ( yes they comment unimas games) there is nothing do to if your provider doesnt have the English option. MLS wants more games on "national TV" hence Unimas getting games.

though me personally i can have the game in russian, chinese, arabic or whatever as long as i can see the game i want. i guess im one of the few that focuses on the game im watching rather than what commentators are saying or what language it is.

Settings -> Audio/SAP -> Digital -> Secondary Language

To be honest I've started muting the TV.

Does the SAP feature work for dish network customers? I want to see if the announcers in the English commentary are as bad as you all say.

Watching Red Bulls v. Chicago (I like seeing the Red Bulls lose, though a Chicago loss is better for us today) and the stream on the Univison app is fucking trash, worse than FS1 shrinking the screen for ads.

1. I'm on the English language stream and I'm also hearing the Spanish announce team from next door.
2. The sound and video don't match up. I hear the screams for a penalty kick and the goal before I see it on my iPad.

I want to watch this RB v Orlando game tomorrow and hope some act of god rains fire on both teams to get us into the playoffs, but it'll have to be on mute... Do I root for Orlando to lose to better our ridiculously slim chances, or root for RB to lose because... well I don't really need to point out that reason do I?

lose - lose on this one.

i must be in the minority here when i don't care much of supporters shield, i mean its great and all but you are not considered the league champions so meh i guess. Sure you qualify to CCL but thats about it, and i think when the RB won the SS they got eliminated by montreal in the group stage.

its like the presidents trophy, its great but what you want is the Stanley cup as that is the one that means you are the champion.
