Where's The Copa Presale???

My advice with this, dont buy. These organizers give 2 f's about real soccer fans. The system is setup for stubhub and other folks trying to make money.

It makes no se se to buy passes and not game tickets and much less when you have little info on the matchups. I hope this doesnt blow up in their face and have lots of empty seating.

Such idiots!!

thanks for putting some common sense into this madness. I want tickets too and have not bought any, and now I'm biting my nails wondering whether I made the right decision . I really want tickets to the final , which is the reason I did not bought them pre- sale. Its like a mafia kind of thing to force people to buy something we have very little information about. I am taking the chance to wait until the tickets for the final are available.

I am going to need to dump 2 tix in all likelihood. I bought four 200 level midfield, row 3. Total cost after fees of over $2k. They are on the aisle. I am open to negotiations since I don't think I have 4 people. Someone wants two awesome seats, I'll sell for face and fees and an interest in the resale of your tickets.

Hi! Mr Midas you are the fellow with the golden touch. They most likely will sell. I may be interested - however I am honestly waiting for tickets for the final to be available to buy. If I am not able to get 2 tickets to the final I want 2 tickets to the quarter finals. Are your seats East- West of the Stadium? Or North -South ?
Best of luck for both of us!!! Meanwhile I will continue biting my nails. I most likely will have no fingers left by June.:confused:

PS Are your tickets for Metlife Stadium?

If we ever get a World Cup, you guys are going to explode when you see how those tickets are allocated and sold...

There were also tickets listed for the final, I wonder if they had the lottery already and just informed those that were able to buy?

It's section 239, so visitors sideline. I don't know how that translates. My four are on the 50 yd line aisle, so seat numbers are something like 25-28.

ETA: I just looked, and there are only like 2 listings for 200 club level at midfield, none of which are on the aisle. There are also only singles available in that section on TM. I guess I'm going to throw them up on stubhub for $900-$1000 each for 6 weeks and see if someone bites.

Funny cuz I bought 4 venue passes to both the Metlife AND Philly because my friend said for sure he knew people who for sure would want to go and then when I told him where the seats were he said "oh those are not good enough". Moral of the story is never buy for anyone but yourself.

Between both of those I laid out nearly $2k, so I'm going to be very upset if I don't get back at least cost minus the price of MY ticket after they actually release tickets to the venue pass holders and then release the single match tickets. Couple guys I talked to basically called me an idiot for buying the venue passes.

That's good, just makes you wonder where the tickets listed already came from.
Scalpers sell tickets short. In other words, they sell tickets they don't have yet at high prices, with the expectation that they'll be able to buy comparable tickets at a later date at a much lower cost than they've sold them to you. It usually works very well, with the notable exception of last year's Super Bowl.

i think its the whole venue pass crap....world cup matches you get into lottery to buy individual game tickets not a venue pass

And if we ever have a World Cup, I'm taking a month off and just touring, watching matches and getting drunk. So I'll take those venue passes anyway, even though they will do the lottery. (PS, if you want to see a ton of matches, the trick is to sign up for a small nation's (or multiple small nations) SG and get into their lottery for a better chance at tickets.

Before I go rushing out and joining the SG from Guam, ( no disrespect to Guam, or anyone from Guam intended) do all FIFA members get allocated World Cup tickets or just the nations that qualify?

I believe it's qualifying nations. I didn't do it myself. But some buddies of mine from England did it to get tickets to Brazil.

I held off from buying the philly venue pass and bought the NYC one so hopefully i get a final ticket.

The USA game in Philly will be against either Peru/venezuela/paraguay/bolivia so its a winnable game.

Im expecting tickets to sell more briskly once the draw is completed.

Anyone have an idea when or if they might sell individual tickets ?

Copa draw is tonight, so we'll know who is playing in the first game at Met Life.
