Really pleased that they get to keep the same name and crest which is very good looking and unique IMO. Welcome to the Loons!
Are they keeping their logo or does the MLS logo have "MNUFC" in the bottom corner? What's the official one?
Per the MLS article in my previous post: they are "retaining the name Minnesota United FC and the club’s popular logo."
The announcement made by the club and league was that the existing name and logo will be carried over.
"Almost a year and a half after Minnesota was first awarded an MLS expansion team, it was announced on Friday that Minnesota United FC will be joining the league in 2017 and that the team will be keeping its name and logo."

Curious to see how the team's reach grows in their first MLS season and when their new stadium is finished (they averaged 8,464 at NASL matches this year; still amazed that FC Cincinnati draws over 16,000 to USL matches)

Good for them. I remember way back we were debating how many tickets they would sell given their deposits were refundable. It looks like they ended up with so many deposits it didn't matter that a lot of them took the refunds.

interesting, i assume it wont be a one year thing but more of a 3 or so year project to start? with that academy already up and running maybe try to use that to fuel that team. though not sure how his record is with promoting youth.
high pressing manager but needs the players for that and in MLS it may be hard to fully get it right off the bat.
