Yep, and if Fred's point was about the overall end point being the same, I agree. Was more clarifying that there are contradictions between the two.

I enjoyed the new season, and am happy to treat it as a separate entity from the books. I think you can draw some inferences from the show like that
nothing of consequence will happen to Arya in Bravos, even if (hopefully) we don't get a terminator-esque chase scene with the Waif.

I read this theory a long time back that there is a dragon sleeping under Winterfell. That's what keeps its hot springs warm (there were other references to parts of the book that might also reference the dragon, but it's been so long since I read it I forget what exactly they were). And Bran will eventually wake it.

I enjoyed the first one, but this is definitely better, strengthen by the music last heard during the epic opening scene from the season six finale, "The Winds of Winter."
 
Prob the best TV trailer I've seen. Of note:

-Jaime in the Field of Fire 2.0
-Tormund vs. White Walker
-Bran gets a wheelchair
-Beric Dondarrion lighting his sword up
