Since it was being discussed in another thread I felt like the brains inside this forum could make a better prediction for the Eastern Conference than or amigo Matt Doyle at the MLS office could ever do. Once I find them again I will edit this post with the MLS online predictions and the SI predictions for the season. Let the guessing and speculating begin!!

I'm going to personally go with

1)NYC
2) Toronto
3)D.C. United
4) Montreal
5) Chicago
6) Atlanta
--------------
7) NJRB
8) Philly
9) Columbus
10)NE Revs
11) Orlando

I feel Atlanta will struggle coming out of the gate will pick up steam the way we never did. The Rev I feel will struggle and Orlando under Kries will only hit rock bottom. Chicago is my Sleeper pick. And I hope the Bulls fall to were they are suppose to be, below the line.

D.C. will likely suck. Columbus should be better. I could see any of us Toronto, NYC, RBNJ winning the east, in that order of likelihood.

Teams who won't make it: Orlando, NER, Chicago, Philly, ATL. Philly and Orlando race for the wooden spoon. Chicago will be plucky like 2015 NYCFC.

Damn. Now I need to think about this more. Maybe Chicago makes it and DC drops out.

Etc: Damnit. Left out Montreal. They are 3 or 4. RBNJ is the other.

D.C. has the making of a very good defense in front of him. Backup Nat team CB flanked by very solid players, Boswell, Opare, Franklin
