Sorry if this has already been discussed re attendance, but are we not expecting a bunch of walk ups from soccer fans in Hartford?

Well, Herrera is injured so Chapman won't be able to give him a double yellow within four minutes of each other.

REF: ALLEN CHAPMAN

LostAnvil LostAnvil Since it's a 30+ minute drive from East Hartford to Storrs, I expect minimal unless giving away tickets for basically free and providing buses.

dannd23 dannd23 Was thinking about this too. Hartford gets a solid USMNT crowd and I would assume some would want to watch this one-off MLS game too.

Unfortunately, not optimistic about even a medium crowd. There are A TON of tickets available for the very limited amount of sections they even selling.

My guess is a touch over 4k LionNYC LionNYC

MLS has not had an announced* crowd below 10k for several years now I think. If you exclude the Chivas USA death run, they have had very few this decade.

MLS should bring Chelis back for a "Chivas USA" throwback night because the crowd is going to be just like in those old days.

Allen Chapman? After his performance in the Chicago game PRO gives him another NYCFC home game?

Like to think we can manage 10 to 15 for this perhaps I'm naive or wildly optimistic. I haven't bought my ticket yet I don't think I've ever got a ticket to see more than a day or two in advance.

More discussion of this in the other Hartford thread but max is around 10,000 as only half of the lower bowl is going to be open. I think we'll be lucky to have 7,000, and even that would surprise me.

Fun Fact...(hope this doesn't jinx it)...

We've never gone more than 2 matches without picking up 3 points. Every time we've gone 2 games accumulating 1 point, we've followed up with a win.
Not just true for 2017. This streak is valid back to last June, which was basically the low point of 2016.
