2018 Season Ticket Thread

Just called my rep and upgraded from cat 5 to cat 2, sec 129- really stoked. I downgraded from 2 seats to 1 but i figure I can always buy on secondary market or from Ticketmaster if I need them, it’s not like tickets are flying off the shelf.

That location looks sick, and resale value looks solid.

Sorry to break it to you, but I don't think the resale market single tickets is solid, if it exists at all.

I’ve sold singles a ton, esp when I’ve had 2 seats and needed to sell 1 cause a friend bailed.

Quite the conundrum.... stay in 233B and move from row 5 to row 2 or jump to section 110 row 9
Thoughts?

I agree with others. I have sat near Section 110, and it is difficult to see what's going on at the other end of the pitch (although the jumbotron helps). It is also hard to really understand the spacing when they are playing at our end.

On the other hand, it is fun to see the players up close and get a sense of the speed and physicality.

I personally like more of a bird's eye view, but that's me.

Does anyone know if we’re able to add additional playoff strips for this upcoming run?

For what it's worth, this is lifted from the Yankees 2018 season ticket pitch:

2018: Please note that the protective netting is presently located behind home plate, extending between the inside of the Yankees' dugout and the inside of the visitors' dugout. The Yankees are seriously exploring extending the netting prior to the 2018 season to the outside of the Yankees' dugout and the outside of the visitors' dugout, with the height of the netting being reduced as it approaches the dugouts. However, the Yankees are continuing to consult with the architectural firm that designed Yankee Stadium and the netting manufacturer and engineering firms so as to determine the exact height of the netting, the length of the prospective extension of the netting and the manner in which it would be secured to the Stadium.

It seems to suggest that the nets aren't likely to go beyond the dugouts, which would be a great thing for people in 11-14 & 108-11 and 26-29 & 129-131

I know we have tons of lawyers on here, do we have any architects and engineers that can infiltrate this process and convince them to put up retractable nets like NFL style so the new netting can be down easily for soccer. They could even raise the nets down first base during warm ups. Very practible imo!

General question. I won't be able to attend the game on November 5th as my girlfriend and I will be out of state. I know the tickets get charged automatically. Do I just have to email my rep and ask them to not process/reverse it?

Where can we access this presale? I didn't get the email and don't see anything on account manager. Hopefully it pops up. I want to get a few seats

Presale is live - just snagged 3 additional cat 5 seats for $35 each

It’s on account manager, they just did it like 10 mins late

It's at the very bottom of the page, the "buy packages/tickets" link. They don't make it obvious.
Shoot. I forgot that I opted out when I saw the initial schedule. That's why it's not showing up I assume. You'd think they still offer the pre-sale to City Members who opted out. Maybe they will, and this one is just for people buying additional tickets.
No biggie, I don't like my regular seats so I would have picked up other seats anyway.

My guess is if you opted out they’re going to treat you as a normal ticket buyer - you’ll probably buy as part of the public on-sale.

I emailed my rep and he was able to get me a playoff strip. My seats must have sold in the pre-sale (front-row aisle) but I got close to my new seats for next season. Same price offered in the opt-in period.
