Concacaf Champions League

SKC looked pretty good last night and fielded their full squad for the game. I am glad they are moving to the Western conference next year, they will be a good out of conference team to follow. We may get one of their keepers, too from the expansion draft.

I have been looking for info on how the conferences will be reshaped, where did you find this?

So did anyone see any good potential pickups in the Portland- CD Olimpia game last night?

The Honduran striker Antony Lozano of Olimpia scored twice. Apparently he was scouted by Spurs at one point. That would be a great player for NYC to look at.

Watched the SKC game last night. They looked dead on their feet. MLS really has a disadvantage when it comes to depth. The Salary Cap and International Player Cap hurts us.

I don't get the love affair with CJ Sapong (bad attitude) or Seth Sinovic (slow). The kid DellaValle on SKC probably was the biggets reason for their loss.

I did like the keeper in the second half. What an incredible atmosphere. Although I just can't envision Frank Lampard or David Villa traveling to Costa Rica to play in one of these games. Lot different then playing Juve or Bayern on a Wednesday night on the Continent.

Does the CCL Generate enough revenue for teams to justify raising the cap or eliminating in? I don't think so.

As for Villa & Lampard, they'll go to Honduras and they will love it or else they get the boot.BHenry and Beckham did it.

That's not the point. MLS squads have poor depth. That's the reality of the current cap and international player limits.
