Is a neck warmer a short scarf?
After much consideration, a neck warmer is not a scarf.

How much consideration, exactly. I need to know so I can better evaluate the quality of your post.
A scarf can be raised above your head to show your support for the club. You can't do that with a neck warmer. A neck warmer and scarf have some same qualities (wear around your neck, keep your neck scarf). But a scarf can be easily removed and used to show club or country pride.
To me, that looks like they took a few of the fan appreciation day "pieces of cloth" and just stitched them together to make a neck warmer.
