Lol get ready to dislike every Nike kit in 18/19.

I don't love it but I don't think dislike it any more or less than the current template. Has a faint pyjama vibe.

Pajama vibe- perfectly said. That nailed it. Wonder if they make the matching onesie with the feet.

I actually kind of like it, but it looks a bit weird with the city blue long sleeve underneath it.

Two LOLs. I was all set to say "screw it, I'm finally going to go to Manchester for the first time this fall just so I can get the new championship shirt next season" but then I saw these and now I'm not so sure. It's like someone took our swirl shirt, which I never did buy, soaked it in hair straightener to uncurl it, and then draped it over the shoulders of a Man City jersey to dry.

Not that I dislike it of course. I think.

I think it's Fug. This season was actually pretty nice the season before was also fug. I'm pretty traditionalist when it comes to kits no need for swirls or weird sleeves etc.

On a more important note a few records set today with the win over Brighton. Most points, most wins, Most goals scored in a Premier league season so hats off to the boys for that. Also Yaya's last home match possibly last period if he doesn't play over the weekend

I finally got around to watching Yaya's last match and the shirt actually looks quite good on TV. The raglan sleeve plus the V is a little bit of a dramatic devils peak, but the speed blue knit looks tight, and I like the way the dark blue carries from the neck tag to the nameset. The dark blue socks are very smart too.

About to get on the Man City bus…

Also, in case you missed your chance yesterday at Columbus Circle the bus will be at Pier 17 today (Monday, 7/23/2018) from 8am to 8pm and at Pier 84 on Tuesday (7/24/2018, not sure of the hours).

Mendy is so fun to watch. He was on a tare today and even tho on paper he only had 1 assist he really had 3. His run for Gabriel’s goal and then the cross that Aguero picked up following a rebound.
Silva and Gundogan also did great to control the midfield.
I love pep’s tactics. Knowing Huddersfield would bunker he went to 3 at he back from the start and it was really a 2 at the back for most of the match with Mendy being so far up.
Should easily pick up points in the next 4 as well.

Cliche as hell but Mendy is essentially a new signing this season. Possibly the most important new edition to city and one the prognosticators largely overlooked in evaluating whether city would be as good or possibly even improved this season .

So I'm going to see the Premier League Trophy at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville CT November 12th. My dad got an invite because he's part of the Mohegan Sun rewards club or whatever good for himself and one guest (he's not a soccer fan but knew I'd want to go) not sure if it's something any of you can join and get in on or if you already have to be a member but I figured I'd mention it.

So UEFA is "investigating" the FFP manipulation that UEFA participated in with Manchester City, with the threat of City being banned from the UCL next season.

What do we expect here? Another wrist-slap £18m fine? Paid to the organization that enabled City to break the rules in the first place? It would take an awful lot of heretofore not-in-evidence integrity from UEFA to actually ban City from the UCL, plus some serious gall not to acknowledge their own part in the scam.

At what point does this rise above simply FFP and enter the spectrum of money laundering and fraud? That third-Party deal for the players’ imaging rights is pretty dicey.
