I think you're badly underestimating City's tendency to play nervously and fail to control games in the CL. To my mind, City's chances of progressimg are still below 50%. Remember also that if they finish level on points with CSKA, CSKA will go through rather than City.

What are Man City's games left? And they CSKA still has to play Bayern Munich correct?
 
Now I am no expert about the Swiss league.... But Basel is beating Liverpool right now. That would be a pretty big upset to me, but once again i don't know much about Basel or the Swiss league.
 
Liverpool are awful. You can't have that much turn over in one summer and expect everything to be the same. Ask Spurs.

The Swiss league isn't great, but Basel have put in some impressive performances in the Champions League in recent years.
 
Obviously the City-Roma match is going to be the one to watch, but Barcelona-PSG is sure tempting.
