Real question is where can i get a NYCFC branded one of these for the game Saturday:

I really hope there is no wind on Sat night. If there's no wind, then we all might make it out of the stadium alive.

I'm honestly thinking about missing this game :( I hate the cold and a 4+ hour drive there and back to freeze for 90 minutes is giving me doubt.

I might not go either. My 7 year old is suppose to come with me, and it might be way to cold for him. He froze at the opener, and it's suppose to be colder this Sat. Going to see how it is a few hours before.

I took my 7 year old and his friend to the opener, and it was tough for them. This will be worse, but I do think that proper layering can make all the difference.

Layers are going to be crucial. I'm doubling up on hats, socks and gloves. Thinsulate layers on top and bottom, heavy coat and top it off with a supporter's scarf. A key part of this plan is only drinking a couple of shots and no beer because peeing is going to take too much effort.
These are the times that I am glad soccer matches last about two hours.

For the opener we both had two layers of everything, and a fleece blanket on top of us and it was tough. Might have to go to a third layer for this one. I really don't want to miss it.

Not sure if anyone took a look at the Home Opener Match Program, but there are a couple new hats in there that haven't released yet.. I'm loving the Adidas one on the right! The one on the left looks like it has a weird shape.

Hot Hands were on sale at Duane Reade the week of the Home Opener since they are trying to get rid of them before Spring decides to show up. They may still have them and they were only like 33 cents a pack - I suggest using about four.

First game really wasn't that bad. Had a light jacket and a long sleeve T and it was fine.

This weekend may be another story though. Like any Yankee game in early April/October you're gonna need a winter jacket and maybe a hat but I don't think it'll be too bad. Booze also helps.
