Should We Bomb Iraq Or Send In Ground Troops?

Why is this always the question? Why is there never an option of 'how about we not do anything?'

So I'm posing this question to my fellow NYCFC fans: Do you think we need to be involved in Iraq still?

Some ground rules: NO name calling. No trolling. Treat everyone with respect regardless of opinion.

Let the debate commence.

It depends,if it escalates quickly with the Iraqi Army unable to gain momentum we should form a coalition to fight but do everything except but have soldiers on the ground.(Air support,logistics,medical,etc)We have done enough fighting on the ground there.

If such an operation were to take place, I don't think the US should have any place in it. We're the primary reason that ISIS exists, imho.

I think you should amend the title to Iraq and Syria because the so called 'Caliphate' crosses both borders, ISIS cannot be gotten rid of unless you also take them out of Syria where their capital is.
That's where the fun begins because then you (we as a Brit) would also have to side with Assad and that's not going to happen.

I have a feeling the West are waiting for Assad to be toppled before trying to sort this mess out with boots on the ground.

I agree that we are the reason ISIS exists, but now we need to finish what we started and bomb them.
