Team is pretty hush on the whole thing. Wasn't he out a game for a groin (adductor) strain and then there was mixed reports as to why he didn't come back after the half on the last game. I didn't notice him acting off before the end of it. Maybe it started to tighten up so they pulled him as a caution. Regardless. This is now the 3rd time he's been "injured" in the last few months. Why not let him rest to 100%. We have the talent to cover him, although fitness maybe an issue. Would be nice if the club would at least address the issue. In the meantime let other players have their chance to show what they got. Kreis needs to mix it up more, Shelton is/was a much needed addition, lets see Taylor up there with Shelton.

For better or worse, this club clearly takes a Bill Belichick approach to publicly announcing anything about its business. I would not expect them to release any more info than Don Gerber and his minions forcibly require from them.

Also, I agree I'd like to see Taylor.

Hey, Bill Belichick wins titles. Hopefully we can do the same.

I would guess that 3 games in 8 days wasn't helping anything. Hopefully, once we are back to a weekly schedule, he will be back in front on a reliable basis.

To be fair, it is actually 3 games in 9 days and 4 games in 14 days.

The "week's rest" the players are currently enjoying is actually only 4 days - the same as the Saturday-Thursday turnaround in between the games against Philly. After Friday, we will have 8 much needed days off before hosting Seattle.

i feared this scenario- villa being injured... i feel that we really depend on him way too much. now that hes missing games, its as though we are going to be lost in our attack
