Your Help (should You Be A City Fan) Is Requested

A couple of months ago I was picked up by a publisher for a satirical history book about Manchester City, but now I'm writing about 93:20. However, I want all views from as many different club fans as possible. It doesn't even need to be City-centric or indeed exclusively about that day; if it relates to that day somehow I am interested.

The book will cover everyone that day, the entire season and then a giant chapter concerning that day.

I have set up an email a/c that I do not mind going public: bluewolf1894@yahoo.com if people have stories to send. Or if you prefer you can post them here perhaps invoking other's memories. No matter what it is, no matter where you live in this World, I would like to hear it.

As an update - for those of you who may have a tiniest bit of interest - I have been sent dozens of stories so far from City, United, QPR, and Sunderland fans (even a West Ham fan!).

On top of all that, I am hoping to get the story from one of the match officials that day, and now I am getting stories from ex-Manchester City players. I will soon be contacting other high profile people who I am lucky enough to be in direct contact with.

I've had funny stories, heartbreaking ones, tales of marriage, divorce, deaths, prophecies, and good luck charms, and all of them I have split up and placed into the relevant segments about that day, so that readers can follow what all these people were doing and where they were as the match progressed.

As an aside, I have discovered virtually everyone has a potty-mouth

Apologies but a quick reminder about this, as it has taken a life of its own, and I now have commentators, ex-City players and celebrities contributing, along with dozens upon dozens of fans.

I have so many stories from all over the World it is ridiculous, but I am greedy and want more; people really wanted to get their hands on my previous book, but it is nothing like this one - they are ravenous. I did not expect this at all; it's almost overwhelming.

But if you do have a story - I care not what English team, if any, you follow - I would like to hear it.
