Came here to post this. But I think it's a lot better than last year. I thought last year's were uncomfortably short. This year's is much better. I think the fit and finish of the authentic is better overall this year.
Ugh, that blows. I suspect I will be in the same boat if that's the case and have to return a medium.
Or... if somebody is planning to buy a Medium and doesn't want to deal with shipping charges, I'll meet you in the city and sell you mine straight up.
Really not a fan of the away Jersey. I thought id get used to it, but I cant.
Not a fan of the generic MCFC style of shirt either. I understand cross branding, but would love something distinctive for NYCFC.

And Modells in Times Square was gracious enough to exchange it no questions asked and no receipt.... Gotta say, that's some seriously good customer service!
So you received it from MLS/NYCFC and were able to exchange at Modells? Just confirming because I suspect I will have to do that after receiving tonight. Also, mine has Poku's name/number. Will that be an issue at Modells?
Yeah, I bought a size Large and it was a little loose on me where both home and secondary last year fit me closely. It's all good though. Motivation to step my gym game up.
Yes on where purchased and where exchanged. If you got a Poku shirt, you may be out of luck with modells as a resource. I think they only have blanks. You may need to sell direct to somebody else.
I used to work at Modell's when I was in college. As long as they sell it, they will take anything back.
Short-sleeved authentic medium Poku jersey arriving today. My kits for other teams have always been size small but last year I went up a size to medium for both the NYCFC home and away which fit just right (I tried and returned the small because it was a bit snug). If the reports are accurate that this jersey fits bigger, I suspect the medium will be a little too big. Will know for sure tonight.
I could have written this - the exact same thing for me last year with the jersey.
My 2016 secondary kit (hypnojersey) authentic XL is somewhat larger than my 2015 secondary kit (black pinstripe) authentic XL. Not a huge difference, but it is noticeable. You know, we dance on the head of a pin on this forum. Regardless, it's less than two weeks till the new season!!!!
Anyone else slightly annoyed by the stripes running down the sides? any slight movement and my arms were getting caught or awkwardly rubbing against them. I'm not too worried for the beginning of the season since it'll be cold as balls and I'll have something underneath, moreso thinking about summer and how it must feel for the players running all game.
Actually the first thing I notice when I tried it on.... annoying as hell.
TMac will be fine though because he runs with his arms raised. Must've used him as a beta tester during design.
One thing I realized while watching Real Madrid play recently....Ronaldo runs exactly like TMac with his arms flying out high in front of hime.
The only difference is Ronaldo is crazy athletic, so it somewhat looks ok when he does it. TMac on the other hand (who I love) isn't as close to as athletic.
I think it's because Ronaldo's lat muscles don't allow for his arms to fall at his side... TMac just doesn't have any muscles.
