Watched the CR interview today and it was interesting to hear him say that we will be getting a few additional players. I'm not sure who, when and how, but something to note. Tuesday's waiver day could shed some light.
I can only assume it will be American players maybe one of the trialists?
No he doesn't. Juan Mata was sold for £37 Million to Man U after not even making the bench at Chelsea. He's headed to the Bundesliga this summer.
For how much? I'm thinking at least $3M. I don't even want to be talking about this, it's upsetting me. We'll probably buy him back in 7-8 years for DP money after he wins the Champions League a few times.
Anybody know if vierra is having the team practice on a smaller field to get in form for our home turf? I'd like to see our field be used to our advantage this year. Simple things like set plays for long throw ins into the box & ect.
You'd have to imagine so. They did that for the FGCU game, so you'd have to guess he's trying to get that down everywhere we play.
I would guess they are in typical game week mode - I bet the flew back last night after the game and are already in NYC. Get the boys on a schedule now
I also thing the club's money person wanted to get them checked out of the hotel - can't remember which but remember seeing it was a fancy one.

juan mata already had a name and did get minutes before that last season at chelsea....plus he had his valencia days as well where people knew about him.
poku so far has had one year so far in first division so its still needs to show his worth to europe IMO
They entertained offers for him during the Winter window. As you know, it is very difficult for European teams to do business in the Winter window. He will take one of the offers this summer. Enjoy him while you can.
Again ....he has to play and start a lot or at least be really impactful sub he was last year. He wasn't featured as much in preseason but I'm sure that will change
And for the rumors those are rumors as I don't think an actual offer was officially made. And it has to be a good offer or else CFG won't want to take it unless MLS forces them to
Pirlo was walking around Manhattan today. Also, NYCFC posted poll photos of the team. Matarrita needs to cool it on the boquitas.
