With the exception of RJ - every defender from the Kreis Error (pun-intended) is gone. I think that it was between Tefu and Mena for that final international slot during the 2015 summer window. I guess we can chalk it up to different coaching styles and visions.

I'm starting to get pissed off at the club a tad. I understand if no moves are ready to be finalized at this juncture in time, but there has been a severe lack of transparency between the front office and fans since the end of the MLS playoffs. I would at least appreciate some form of update from the club, as it pertains to our pursuits.

It's a bit frustrating that we have a lot of roster spots to fill and a limited time to do it and we haven't made much headway yet. I'm really not frustrated that there haven't been 'leaks.'
But you really can't be upset that the club isn't putting out stories like 'currently negotiating for Nasri.' That's not smart business.

There's really not much to say though. Besides announcing who we are pursuing there really isn't anything else to be said. We know the positions that we need based on the current roster.

Anything they could tell us was in that vaporous article I made fun of last night. It's a no-win time period. If they say anything we complain it's fluff. If they stay silent we complaint they are silent. I'm willing to mock them and make fun of the situation just to pass the time but I can't see getting upset.

You could also argue Kreis didn't want RJ initially. That he was only signed mid-season because injuries forced it upon him. Then none of his chosen defenders remain.

I don't need to hear about player signings, but I would like communication regarding:

1. Recap of Coaches trip to Europe.
2. Training facility updates (construction schedule?)
3. Academy: player/squad stories, goals for the year, planned travel/tournaments, etc
4. Clubs ideas for outreach to city/schools in 2017
5. Date for 1st Historic Active/Alumni game

Haha!!! You want to see our alumni play??? I also secretly yearn to see the Wingert-Grababoy-Nemic combo and reminisce about all the chances they created. I'd also love to see Lapmard back, but I'm sure he'd just commit and then not show up.
