2017 Relocation Thread

I am in 212 second row. I was thinking about moving to 135-136 any input on those seats? I like 212 it's got great views right behind the goal, pretty calm but also fun at times. Also can grab multiple beers from the stands which I think I would be giving up if I move towards the supporters. I can also sit bullshit and well drink. Still on the fence I may move to better seats I may stay... I wish the douche bags in front of me would fucking move so I could take their seats.

I sat close to there in 134 the last two season. I agree with everything FootyLovin said. You get the energy from the supporters section with the benefit of a seat. With regards to the beer thing it should be the same as you are used to. The concessions for the 100 level seats are different from the SS concessions on the next level up. Directly behind 135 is a beer stand that allows you to get 2 per person.

I feel like I just opened a great new Christmas present, but I can't play with it until March.
Hopefully it is less than 30 days until the schedule is released (last season it was the first Thursday in January, haven't scoured the web to see if there is any intel on the 2017 release). That will be like then getting the track for your great new remote control car, but still not being able to play with it until March.

Anyone try to piece together the home schedule based on the Yankees schedule? We can probably assume that they time the Yankees are away, we'll be playing at home.

People did that to pretty good results in 2015, but last year it didn't work at all. I don't think anybody predicted we would play 6 of the first 9 at home. I think the longer-than-normal break for international play midseason due to the Copa America surprised everyone, and there was a Garth Brooks concert at YS that nobody accounted for either. Maybe this year will have fewer surprises. I definitely hope the home games are more spread out. In year 1 we stayed very close to the expected home every two weeks rhythm.

Missed the call Tuesday during my window and didn't find many options when I logged on that morning. Way more options when I just logged on this morning. Switched from 134 row 4 to 112 row 18 to get under the roof. Worried I am going to miss being near the SS but excited to have some shade and try out the other end of the stadium.

My 3 seats are in 114B, row 16, also underneath - same feel as yours, behind the goal. I have never tried to relocate. Benefits are protection from rain, snow and sun. Temperature in summer is much cooler than in the sun. Cushioned seats at rear of section so you are closer to the bathroom (or food) at halftime and can get there before the line forms. Lots of food, closer to the subway. Oh, did I mention the price?

So I decided to take a peek at the VV today and came across 2 front-row aisle seats in section 108 (technically row 2, their is one seat in row one on the other side) and decided to make the move! The positives: Pretty close to the pitch, probably good resale value. The negatives: Right at the foul pole. Hopefully this won't be too much of a hassle, but i'm assuming someone who had them may have been annoyed by it.

Either way, my two seats in 232B, front-row aisle should probably be available now! Hurry up!

ETA: Just to confirm, now that I did the relocation, I no longer have access to the virtual venue.

ETA2: I just looked at the virtual venue for new members and my 232B seats are available now.

Are the 232b front row seats obstructed in any way?

Yes, slightly. When the play is in the infield corner, you will have to lean slightly to see around the foul pole. You could also look over at the big screen.
Overall, it was somewhat annoying, but not that big of a deal. If you value being able to re-sell your seats for break-even or slight profit, these are good. If you use all of your tickets, then you would be better off with something else. I sat in 213 last season, which is somewhat similar to you 233B seats, and I prefer the view from the corner as you can get a better depth perception of the far side of the pitch.

I had Row 2 seats in 232B and liked them very much. The foul pole didn't really bother me. It's in the way 1-2 times a game, and then you forget it's there. Plus, you are right on top of the field and not farther away as with other sections in the stadium. The atmosphere is a little quiet, but you are also near the supporters, so that provides a lot of energy.

I'm currently in row 10 in 233B, thinking I will either try to move up to the first couple of rows or move back 3 or 4 rows to get into the shade. Also might try 234 if there are good openings, But I'm pretty happy where I am.

I'm in 233B as well, a few rows down. I like the section and vibes from 233B and 234. it's a great place to be.

How about each section gets their own thread! (Don't have the sarcasm font on my phone)

Are you trolling me through multiple forums?

Are you for real? This crowd? There are probably several threads where people have heated arguments about if it will be a day game or night game depending on the Yankee schedule.
