This most recent change was only from 10:30 to 11:00. I don't love the start time but for their fans on a Friday night having to drive to their stadium in LA traffic, I can live with it. I would also fully support never having Eastern Time @ Pacific Time matches on weeknights in the future.

The game is on a Saturday.

Crazy. So, it was a Sunday night, prime time matchup between two marquee teams. Now, it's a late night throwaway between those same teams.

What's weird is that there is no game at all on that Sunday in MLS.

HOLY COW! I figured it out. Charges are playing a pre-season game on Sunday night at 8pm at the StubHub Center.

Nice way to control your fucking tenant LA Galaxy.

So the day is moved from Sunday to Saturday in favor of pre-season NFL.
Then Fox says we can't show it Saturday night because we're committed to Women's Amateur Golf Semifinals.
ESPN says I'll take it, but it has to be on 'round midnight so we can show a Canadian tennis Semifinal.

Yep. I am sure the poor play of the Galaxy has not helped. My guess is that once it moved off Sunday night it became a bit of a hot potato where to put it and when to broadcast it. Outside of college football, Saturday night isn't a good time for live sports, and I am sure neither Fox nor ESPN were all that excited about using one of their broadcast rights to put it on at that time.

The more interesting question for me is how the Chargers got the Sunday night spot ahead of our game. The Charger game is on the NFL Network. I wonder if the NFL put any pressure on Fox and ESPN to support a move.

I think the golf and tennis tournaments Saturday night were probably just prior commitments. Fox and ESPN might have asked MLS if it was willing to pay their damages to those events for pre-empting them and MLS said nah, not really.

As for the Chargers game, I presume the NFL or Chargers just wrote a check that the Galaxy was happy to cash, regardless of the TV consequences. MLS must get a cut or they would not have allowed it to mess up the TV situation this much.

Yes, Denver trip has been planned. Still need to find a hotel, and now realizing it's only a little more than a month away hahahaha... shit.
I booked Aloft by the airport, came out to 107 per night.

Could or sedan? Or maybe SUV - hybrid of course, so you don't have to hide it from your crunchy neighbors.

Don't give me your itinerary. Give me some damn fullback signings, mr. insider.
Vieira said Sunday that they identified the targets (plural) they want to add.

He's insistent that he doesn't want to sign a body for depth, he wants someone who can start.

So far it's been extremely quiet, not a peep anywhere. Realisticly it could mean a loan from a CFG side.

Between Vieira and Klopp, I guess my teams will never sign another damn player. God forbid you just have a competent body sit on the bench a few games.
