It's interesting that the infographic calls the stripes the "Adidas World Cup Pattern", does that mean every national team that wears Adidas will get some variant of this?

Probably, but I really hope not. I hate template kits. They lack all uniqueness and identity.

It's an error. The top one is the correct version for both the replica and authentic

I am so conflicted about the color! Especially that Vancouver released a grey alternate as well and I like the bs reason they spun up for why its grey and patterned the way it is. I don't like the"Everywhere we go" thing but not including it anywhere and to just throw the bland CITY path on the back feels lazy. The kit looks nice but it just feels like an after thought.
Things I like, The full kit looks really clean together glad they shifted to the hockey style socks. And the Monogram is still alive and well. Have to wait to see how they look on field and on TV to really get a feel for them.

With the release of the new pics, I do really like the color scheme. Still hate that it's a boring (and IMO pretty ugly) template. But the steel grey color looks sharp. I just wish they went with something less super-generic than "CITY" on the back collar. Also wishing we had a third kit.

Somebody on the design team took a few liberties.... zoom in and look at Villa’ shorts and the back side of them at the bottom is lower than the front. Strange.

Yeah its an odd fit. The bottom of the jersey is also contoured like a dress shirt that's meant to be tucked in. I do really like the neckline though. Not a simple crew neck, but also not an awkward v-neck that always makes it look a size too big.

Template kits. It’s like some of our posters. They think that no one notices when they just change a few letters, but the underlying truth is you’re stuck in your template, and it’s easy to figure out.

I don’t even understand why anyone needs multiple accounts.

Actually looking at the shirts again, there is a slight difference between the Colombia shirt and the NYCFC Away.

The black lines in the coloured Stripes of the Colombia shirt are the same, whereas in the NYCFC shirt they are a different size

the Adidas store on Houston has next to nothing as relates to the release. Literally a handful of hoodies & replicas , no authentics & no name/number sets.

The Adidas flagship on 5th is a bit better. They do have authentics, long sleeves and name/number plus the customization is free .

I bagged the travel hoody for myself. Highly recommend, Very soft yet the fabric is thick and warm. It's a slim fit so if you are a fan of beer and stout as I am, order 1 size up.

I got the long sleeve authentic with David Villa 7 for my son. It's stunning. If 2016/17 was the HypnoKit then this grey and blue combo is the PigeonKit.
