Is it just me or does that tweet neither have anything to do with nor mention jerseys in any way. What am I missing?

That's what I thought at first, but I think the change in crest is likely connected to the crest on the new uniform, and the slogan they posted is fitting of an intro for a new away jersey.

Also, why else would they have posted this stuff and made a avatar change? It's a completely random image otherwise.

Would be kind of cool if they took a supporter's section song and made it the central message for the season.

Everywhere we go sounds like a threat and a promise of multiple “home” venues

A reveal doesn’t matter much if they don’t go on sale that day.

And I can’t for the life of me imagine which retro jersey RB will pull out since their best color combo has already been snagged by ATL. Hope they go all the way and do the inaugural season’s kit. It’s so shitty it’d be chic.

NYCFC's social media profile picture change from the normal crest to the monochrome crest was the first confirmation of the jersey color.

This 2018 annual scarf from the Third Rail is the second confirmation. We're getting a grey jersey as the base color.

I can live with a grey kit. It just depends on whether or not they try and pull some weird crap or just stick with grey.
