Using scientific copypasta techniques, I have determined that the color is not gray but an intrepid deep, dark blue color that is bossy and authoritarian called Midnight Express.

It is also an Academy Award-winning Oliver Stone movie where some hippie gets tossed in a Turkish prison for smuggling hash.

I don’t understand the copy “Including the year 2018.”

To me, it's more of trying to play off the Twitter image. So in other words, they're saying:

"Everywhere we go...and not just geographically, but also as we step forward into the New Year..."

That said, I'm not going to deny that it wasn't the perfect wording for that tweet, and it did confuse me at first too.

I love our badge in monochrome. I have high hopes for this jersey!

Yeah, it's surprisingly growing on me too, considering that I tend to find monochrome versions of colour designs to be cheap and basic.
