I think half that team is out of soccer. Grabavoy, Ballouchy, Brovsky, Lampard, Pirlo.
It will be interesting to see if Lampard and Pirlo ever come back for any sort of anniversary events or ceremonies at any point in the future. Will be a good indicator of how each feels about their time here looking back.
We know Villa is coming back to unveil the statue of himself outside the new stadium.
I hope they name the pitch after him in addition to the statue since it won't need to be Ethiad field any more since it will be Etihad stadium.
Naming a field is so ridiculous. I've only seen it done in college sports for donation purposes or to honor someone like James Naismith or Coach K.
Maybe David Villa gets a stand named after him.

It has already been confirmed that there will be a David Villa statue at the entrance of the yet to be seen Soccer Specific Stadium.

I have it from an inside source that Gomez, Stertzer, and Lopez have been cut from the team. Someone I trust but nothing I can confirm, do with that what you will.
Gomez - Was on loan the full year. He counts as an American and is just 21 years old. I could see us loaning him again, unless Vieira/Reyna think he's not developing well enough.
Stertzer - Not a surprise. He played 10 minutes in our USOC game as a sub. Subbed in. Subbed out. He's gone.
Lopez - This is a surprise as he's been a good option to go to off the bench when needed. If it's a salary dispute, I don't think he's worth anywhere above $80K and he's currently making $75K.
not gonna lie....i want to keep lopez cuz you know we gotta fill roster spots and can use him here to kill minutes and can give you a good game or two plus cheap etc
