2018 Season Ticket Thread

Mostly camelback the last two years with the once a year trek to Whiteface. We really want to go to Whistler and few other places but most of our traveling has been during the summer months.

You? Any somewhat local recommendations? We haven’t explored much in PA or NY.

I'll message you so we don't drive everyone crazy

I'm looking to relocate ...does anyone know row the covering goes up to in 234/233B/233A?
I sit in 233A and I'm in row 9 and barely covered...i would recommend row 11 or 12 to be safe and covered.

Just got a robocall from nycfc reminding me of the opt out deadline for playoff seats.

Does anyone know if we’ll be able to add seats for the playoffs at our current city member rate?

Anyone upgrade or relocate today?
I relocated (well I relocated to the west coast, but I'm still keeping my god damned founding member ticket!)

I left 234 for a seat back in 236. Downgraded from two seats to one and the price difference is nice since it's difficult to justify it from here but I'm hoping I fly back often enough to catch some more games.

I moved 4 seats from 105 to front row seats in 227B. There were 2 more seats in the front row available when I checked out..

I looked , there isn't anything i saw that would make me want to move yet. Maybe as people move around, something might open up that I would think about. Anyone know how long the venue is going to be open for?

Mind if I ask why you moved?
I usually sit in other seats and the 105 seats were nearly impossible to resell.

I think I'll have more luck selling these when I dont need them. People are always fascinated with first row.

relocated 127b row 5 middle, to 127b row 2 aisle seats

No one called me so I did it via the computer. Odd thing was at 4pm my scheduled time I logged in and saw nothing open in my section 127B, but in 127A I saw 2 aisle seats in the first row. I was gonna lock it in, even getting all the way to the last screen before finalizing but decided to take another look, so in a 2nd browser i logged in and double checked, no change, so I hit accept on the original 2 seats in 127A. It gave me an error and now those seats were gone. I was like fuck! But I assumed it some how timed out my account when I logged into a 2nd browser and that my account was actually still holding the seats. So I waited a couple minutes and they were back up for selection, but now my section exploded with open seats all the way to the 2nd row. This time I just took the best seats available in my section and locked it in quick.

After the upgrade, I went back to the home page to double check the section and see if I can move again to row 1 if its open, but the option to upgrade is no longer there. That sucks! I am hoping they call me so I can explain to them I would move down to row 1 anywhere in the row if they have available. I shouldn't be locked out cause I served myself.

UPDATE:
I sent them an email explaining my situation that I am locked out and no one called me to do my appointment. Apparently this year its all online. They aren't doing phone calls. I am still locked out online but I can call to move again if I wanted. Kind of dumb they removed the ability to move a second time from the account management page, but allow it over the phone. I mean if the seats are open and I can move then let me see that. Kind of annoying that at my appointment I have to take what it there or risk losing the opportunity, but I never get to see if my situation improves later on. But whatever, I'm in row 2 now, I doubt there is anyone later in my queue in row 1, or if there was they probably didn't renew and those seats were taken already, so I'm done scrounging for the year.

I got an email, saying there wasn't inventory showing during my appointment time, and to look back, i moved 5 rows down in my same section. Maybe by the time we move out of the stadium I will have sat in most every section.

I just did mine. I'm bummed about the possible netting thing but I'm hoping I'm high up enough so I'm above it. Was in 224 top row on the right and moved only about 20 seats over to the left, just a little higher up the third base line.

I'm generally fine with being in Yankee Stadium more or less but it's this exact sort of situation where it stinks. In a soccer stadium my seats would be near the center line just at the edge of the circle (which is where they were to begin with) but if I went to the same priced section in left field I'd be back at the 18 yard box. So basically I'm stuck with hoping I'm above the net vs. not having quite as good a seat. In a soccer stadium I could sit on either side of the center line and not have to worry about junk like netting.

I think you are going to be fine. Any netting they add behind the dugouts will be much lower than the netting behind home plate.

I moved to 230, mainly because I wanted to keep front-row aisle. We'll see how it goes next year!

Kept mine in 212 Row 1. Wanted to slide over so the mesh wasn't covered by an electronic signboard, but nothing is available that lets me stay in front row. Will keep looking.
