2018 Season Ticket Thread

I'm considering season tickets for 2018, looking for section advice. I've attended a handful of games since last season: Delta (fine, but too expensive), right field (sunburned), and section 230. I like 230 a lot—the elevated corner view is great—but I want to see a few other angles before jumping in for season tickets. Any particular sections y'all would recommend to try some different views?

The view matters but so does the personality of the section and believe me, different sections have different personalities.

But if people buy it I can't really say it is overpriced.

It's definitely overpriced. Look at it this way: If you already have a Delta seat at 1300 and then add on Audi Club access for 1300, you're now between Champions and Legends in price with none of the convenience. Delta and Audi are basically the whole stadium apart. Ridiculous.

They'd be better off selling an optional prepaid food add-on to Delta. Hand out a second wrist band to the people who have it and they don't pay for food. It would be a bit more work but manageable I think. I still would be very unlikely to buy t unless they shocked me with the price, but again some would enjoy it.

Depends on what you're looking for. I'm in section 233B and it's a great location. I love my section for many reasons. I think the view is great, you're close enough to the supporters section and 234 that you get the noise and atmosphere, but everyone sits during the game and there's less of a chance of foul language. These things were important to me because I bring my 9 year old daughter to many games. For the price I think it's pretty good value too. Tickets next year are $26 a game.

With sections closed behind home plate, anyone know what capacity will be capped at?

Sections 17B-21B and 117B-121B are now closed. So I expect them to drop the NYCFC capacity by 1,000 or so.

Under the upperdeck FTW. I'm in 214A under the deck. Have never gotten sunburned or rained on in 3 years.

I got Jack. Took me a second to understand what was going on, thought it was some annoying robo-call at first until I heard NYCFC.
