This is the season where it's been during the offseason where the implosion has happened first. Hey, something new!

what if our luck reverses and we implode at the beginning of a season but then Seattle it at the end?

Much harder to “Seattle” with new playoff format. Used to be if you could get past wild card round, it was home and home the rest of the way and a rest break till MLS Cup. Now you’d have to win 4 away matches in a row for 4 weeks in a row, with one team maybe having a bye.

All this optimism warms my heart.
My cockles are warmed, too. We’ve come so far as a fanbase.

Supporters should be like the people of France, open riot or revolt every few years. We had to build it, earning every bloody scar of a stripe. For our children, it will be a birthright, imprinted in their very DNA.

If we are successful at ever winning a trophy, it’ll be the first one ever that CFG collects that people can’t rightfully say was bought. Although, I have my doubts given Atlanta’s practices and RBNJ’s processes that we’ll ever sniff a final under this leadership (ownership & fo).

ETA: I’m going to treat CFG like I do an MTA bus. If you ever ask yourself is that asshole really about to do that crazy shit, the answer is yes. Always yes.

The team is either shifting to youth development and we’ll see the likes of Lewis and Sands receiving a lot of minutes or we’ll just suck while they rot on the bench.

Not unless there's a whole lot more to this story that we don't know.

yeah I was going to say something similar- If you look at the "player stats" they end when Berget came to NYCFC (idk about tinnerholm) and there are no stats of the past season which makes me just think they haven't updated the page since he left. They stuck "went to NYCFC" and then the page is just sitting there. If he was actually back, they would have updated the stats to the most recent, as well.

nah i think its youth and Dome likes to work with academy (based on articles posted) and especially with that crappy august/september schedule they will see time. Especially at home since that seems to be where trusts sands at least.
