2019 Season Ticket Thread

How much you guys wanna bet Dome doesn’t understand the Salary Cap and MLS’ plethora of roster rules???

to be fair, pretty sure a bunch of managers dont get MLS rules. worse yet FO's dont know the rules themselves, triggering options without even knowing etc

Has anyone skipped their appointment? I'm mildly curious if they are calling everyone at their times since they didn't ask people to pre-register.

Quick analysis of premium seating:

Champions are 68% sold, Legends 72% sold and Pitchside (not including the 2 new wing sections, which are terrible, by the way) 77% sold.

My experience last season was that about 30-40% of Champs seats were occupied at any given game.

Front row 103 should be there. Row 1 seats 7,8. Just don’t expect to ever resell for face. Or know the ppl Sitting next to you (owned by scalpers, never the same faces). I might still show up a few rows behind sitting next to Dnigly13. Just paying half face value after selling my SS for what they cost me.
Already scooped up!

Those mus be the world's dumbest scalpers if they're losing money on every transaction.

I asked my rep about it. I know the guys who have 1,2,3. Good dudes. 4,5,6 is owned by a local soccer club. And gives the seats away each match. 9-12 is just some dude guy selling EVERY game. And undercutting me too!

Must be a bloodbath over the new few weeks. Many who either didn't renew or are relocating to a cheaper price point.

I'm the proud owner of two spots in 236 now. Woohoo!

Back to basics for me. Ride it out in 215 as my home section, which to me, is still the best tactical view in the stadium.

They didn't even try to argue with me to keep the other seats (126 cum 206 post-net). Although, this is symptomatic of how things are run, they wouldn't sell me the piggy back seats behind my 215 front row seats because there was a block of 3. I mean, that's silly. They just pretty pointlessly cost themselves whatever incremental revenue that could have been solely to keep a 3-seat block. I can't even grasp that given what I expect to happen with STH numbers.

I'm likely going to move my Champ seats to the 200s just so I keep my founding member status. I'm likely done spending significant money on my seat until I see either a stadium announcement or this team spending the amount of money they should be investing in the club.

Probably gonna join you. Expecting a big loss of STHs. Time to consolidate. Interesting times for our club. I'm not convinced it will be a bad thing in the long run to start again with a core of lunatics and masochists.

When I talked to my rep while I was cancelling, he actually said our renewal rate was our highest yet. Not sure if that was fluff, but he seemed surprised when I mentioned the perception on this forum that renewals were very weak.

Yeah, I call BS on that.

Not NYCFC related, but the Quakes are offering a standing room only season ticket for $250. Pretty amazing deal and I’m planning on getting one.

YS has quite a bit of terrace areas. I wonder if NYCFC would ever offer something like that. I know they did something similar for a few games at one point.

I’d take it if it let me keep my founding status.

Saw some people on twitter dropping their season tickets because of Villa. Is anyone here considering that? To each their own but I think we COULD be a better team without David next year. If I still had mine I think It would depend on what the club does this offseason.
