Thanks. I don't ride anything yet, that's the problem haha. I'm a man with a license and no bike to ride. Been on a few sites pricing out bikes but as I'm new, still feel more comfortable in the parking lot .
Big Apple.TRAMAS?
Best way to get the confidence is to really just get out there. Once you get a bike id be happy to go on some nice easy rides with you just to get you acclimated.
Big Apple.
Nice. I'll have to work on purchasing one. Or at least renting/borrowing one every now and then.
Cruiser all the way. Mostly will be weekend riding.you a crotch rocket or cruiser guy? not that it matters, just curious.
Is that a recommendation or what you ride?Triumph street triple 750cc.

I was also looking into a Triumph America and recently Harley Sportster 1200. What do you ride?im assuming its what he rides. Its considered one of the best and most reliable sport bikes out there. Quality bike.

Didn't like the Sportster?Currently on a Harley Wide Glide. Had a Sportster in the past (bought it brand new and kept it for about a month) and before that i was on a Kawasaki Ninja.
Didn't like the Sportster?
not that i necessarily didnt like it but it just wasnt for me. Beautiful bike but it was a little small for me in both physical size and engine size. One of my favorite looking bikes harley currently makes is the fourty eight which is a sportster model, but its just not for me.

If you had told me you rode a bike, and I had to guess the make, I'd have pegged you as a Ducati rider.Thats my bike, I love the thing to pieces but... she's a hell of a bike.
Pros
Has an actual radiator so your legs don't fry.
Inline 3 cylinder so the balance is amazing
Power to spare.
Its gorgeous.
Cons
Not a newbies bike, 100hp is no joke on a bike.
Parts can be a pain to get.
Best advice I can give a newbie is get something in the 250cc range and learn how to ride the sox off of it. Then upgrade to something with real power.

So I wasn't wrong. The Ducatti almost killed me, twice. I decided to switch to something a tad more sedate.
