Dear @bastianschweinsteiger ,
I know you probably won't see this, but I thought I should say it anyway. First let me welcome you to America & the MLS. It got off to quite an interesting start with reporters asking you questions so absurd, you may have thought "is this a joke." That is a question you will be asking yourself a lot during your time here. From the questions asked, to some of the mentalities, the fans, and everything in between. So let me answer your question. Sad...

And that's why I could care less what she says. As long as she doesn't stalk me, it's cool.

He definitely saved the last one, when he tapped it over the crossbar.

Would love to see how close the 2nd was to going in. The Pirez (think it was him) clearance, he was standing inside the goal mouth at least a foot or two. Don't think crossed the line, but pathetic there's no good camera shot of it.

The first was saved by a defender who headed the ball out. The second was headed out by a different defender who was charging in. The goalie might have gotten a touch on that one, but the real work was the header. The third was saved by the same defender who emerged from the back of the goal to deflect it wide with his stomach. Crazy.

Check out the video from the 11:20 mark.

I've met. Very attractive in person.

I don't think you guys have anything to worry about. She's not stalking 50 year old lawyers.

Sorry. I got the order wrong. It's the second one the keeper saves, the third one is the dude in the goal mouth. What you're suggesting isn't physically possible, as the keeper bats the ball against the bar, making the 3rd clearance necessary.

go to 1:10 here. There's another angle of it somewhere that makes it even more clear it was the keeper.

Here's a better shot. None of the frame rates are good enough for me to isolate this super clearly.

Zaprudering this thing, I'll walk it back and say I think it's possible there were two touches. That may be what actually kept it out. The defender would have put it into the net or bottom of bar. Kann maybe would have batteed it in. If they both got a touch, it was basically simultaneously and that accounts for what appears to be magic.

Great stuff. It's tough to tell for sure.

For me, the real evidence that the second save was mostly the head of the defender (Gonzalez Perez) is the speed and angle at which it was sent back out.

The goalie (Kann) was facing back toward the goal and probably trying to push the ball over the bar. However, the ball rebounded up and out quickly. The only way for the goalie to have caused the ball to rebound that way would be to have hit it with the back of his hand, and I don't see the ball heading out with that kind of power using the back of the goalie's hand. This is why I think the real save was made by the head of Gonzalez Perez, which is what knocked it back at that angle and with that speed.

ETA: I suppose it is possible that the goalie tried to knock it over the bar and it ended up rebounding off the bar, but I don't see that on the video.
