Yeah I feel it is such an mls thing to have.

They sell stuffed animal raccons in the DC team store because RFK is a shithole and actually has raccoons living in the stadium. I have a soft spot for los mapaches. IDK if they will be selling them next year at their new stadium.

I am also hosting a baby shower on saturday. Love the name harrison for some reason.

Anyone going to be at Ryan's Daughter for the game tomorrow? I'm planning on heading there for it.

For NYCFC to be number 1 in the Eastern Conference by the end of this weekend...

- NYCFC win vs. DC
- Columbus Loss vs. Chicago
- Atlanta tie/loss vs. Toronto
- Red Bulls are also on 7 points but would need to win by a +9 margin if we win 1-0.

If you go by points per game, we need to win and have Columbus, Atlanta and Orlando all tie or lose.

Any changes to the starting lineup? I wouldn't be surprised to see Coach V start to rotate the players a bit, but we aren't hitting any midweek games for another month.

I hope not. It's not broken, so it doesn't need fixed.

T-mac better not be starting. Not saying he is bad, but it was ridiculous how many articles/writeups I read this week about "should T-mac start?"
It's not a knock on him that I don't think he should start, but more about how strong I think our first 11 has been.

Right. If it is me, no changes, but what do people think Vieira will do?

What the M EL S talking heads want to see, another american player getting more time on a very good team.

What PV wants is to win every game. PV will start Tmac only if it gives him a good chance to win. With Tmac's inherent mobility issues, the chance of him starting is very slim. If he does start, who does he replace? Maxi, Carmago, or Pirlo? He's better than exactly none of those players.

You lost me at Carmago... Wallace maybe? Or Ring?

Herrera should start before Mcnamara does in my opinion.
Yeah I could maybe see Herrera starting for Pirlo to account for the threat of Acosta. Or maybe Ring as a manmarking CDM vs. a space-holding CDM, which could open up space for a T Mac or playing Pirlo higher up the pitch.

My preference would be to start as we have, get some early goals and then see Herrera at the 60th minute for Pirlo to lock things down.

A source close to a couple of the players told me Patrick will most likely experiment with the formation today.
That's kinda annoying if it turns out true. Why change a lineup that manhandled the opponent 4-0 the first meeting???

If it is true, the only two switches that could be acceptable are:
Herrera for Pirlo
Carmago for Wallace
Or *perhaps*
Herrera for Ring

One goal does not earn TMac a starting position.

Don't touch the Defense unless PV is concerned White will be more exposed on a larger field. Definitely don't spill it up Chanot/Callens to get Brillant minutes unless there's an injury.

Changed lineup? No.

But I do think we'll see earlier subs. Up by a 2+ margin, Pirlo off and Herrera/Camargo in. Ring off for either one of those if he gets a yellow card or even likely to get a yellow. Villa off for Khiry again to save minutes on his legs.
