On Optimum for the last Unimas game I was able to switch to English commentary by selecting "French" in the language options. Makes sense right? It's almost as bad as Spanish though, the one guy says "WITH LOTS OF CLASS!" like every 5 touches, and of course the obligatory drawn-out "goooal" that makes me want to fork my eyeballs out.

Can we petition the powers that be to end this Unimas nightmare next season? At least un-block MLS live...

Unimas only has rights through the end of this season, at least according to livesoccer.tv.

Less than zero percent chance that any player plays to lose against Orlando, or that Kreis plays what he believes is an inferior lineup destined to lose (which probably would include Poku ). I think there is a lot of value in finishing the season the way they have pre-elimination and hopefully as they will in the final two games. We are not talking about one game deciding whether or not we get a Michael Jordan or Connor McDavid here. I hope they go all out in the last two.

Yeah, I'm not certain what Kreis would do if he were trying to lose. It would be hard to tell, for sure.

I seem to be the cause if some ire. I'm not suggesting that we throw the game, or not play hard. Only that a losses at this time of the year are better for us than wins. The super draft is not the most important thing in the world, but who here wouldn't want Cyle Larin over Shelton right now?

Not going to mention that we still could have had cristian roldan at 2.

Weird. I'm on Time Warner Cable in Queens and they have Unimas on 68, 804, and 1226 (444 and 959 are Univision). None of those channels show the match in the listings though. If it's not being shown here on Unimas I wonder if it'll still be blacked out on MLS Live. Not sure if MLS Live is "smart" enough with the blackouts though as it's way easier to just shut down a whole region rather than checking to see if individual systems are showing the matches. Might have to stream this one if it's not on TV.

Hope we get to see this one live.

I just got off the phone with the NYCFC front office. I called because I am not seeing the game listed anywhere and when I did a search the only hit I got is the 10/25 game. I was able to watch the 10/2 game on Unimas with no issue. I have Optimum and it was on channel 17. According to NYCFC the game will be on Unimas tonight at 7pm. They are looking into why it is not listed. If you are setting your DVR just add extra time to the current one hour show being listed at 7pm.

EDIT: I still have a show listed from 5pm - 7:30pm and then one from 7:30pm - 10pm on Unimas.

I get your point re: Saunders. But I feel as though he's the kind of guy that wouldn't want to sit at all.

That said, I would rather see Johansen over Meara as Meara for sure will be gone next year. We'll see if we decide to keep Eirik or not and that international spot, but there's still a shot he sticks around.

RJ is yellow card accumulated. (In the voice of SIMON BORG): WE ALREADY KNEW THIS.

Iraola and Facey are questionable. Brandt is out. RJ Allen is out, so is Hernandez. That leaves these five healthy defenders available to play: Wingert, Angelino, Mena, Lord Kwame, and Jeb.

WE'VE ALREADY HAD THIS DISCUSSION.

We're going to have to cut Kreis a lot of slack with tonight's roster with all these injuries, international call ups, and yellow card accumulations.
