What the what? Didn't he get injury during the most recent international break four weeks ago? Isn't a sports hernia injury supposed to be like 2 months? Is he really fully fit? If he's at 100%, oh boy, hype train back to the 2nd seed.
This is weird. I will be surprised if he actually plays. Which maybe he does, but then why does PV say he is not going to be available til after the break? Is this like the injury report before the Portland game where Villa was listed as questionable but PV had already said he wasn't ready to play? Its also weird that he was listed as "out" 3 days ago, and now doesn't show up at all.

I would much rather take the 3rd seed and a fully healthy team then the 2nd seed with guys still nursing injuries. (Except Villa, because damn it, I want him to win that Boot)

Said this on Twitter, the club is trying to take the sting out of the Belmont news. Herrera will be in the 18 while Pirlo and T-Mac start once again.

Did someone say Pirlo and T-Mac?

Hulk Smash!!

Montreal Impact v New York City FC
Stade Saputo (7:30PM ET)
REF: HILARIO GRAJEDA
AR1: Nick Uranga
AR2: Daniel Belleau
4TH: Sorin Stoica
VAR: Edvin Jurisevic

Grajeda previously refereed our 2-1 win vs. Philadelphia in June where 4 yellow cards were shown (2 for each team). No penalties during this match and no missed or obvious errors that I recall.

In 2016, Grajeda refereed our 2-1 at Portland where 3 yellow cards where shown (2-NYC, 1-POR). No penalties on the day, though the controversial call was on the David Villa goal where there was debate whether RJ Allen committed a handball.

In 2016, Grajeda also refereed our 2-0 win vs. Red Bull where 4 yellow cards (2 for each team) and one straight red card was shown to Chris Duvall in the 79' for RB. No penalties on the day, and no controversial calls.

With a good roster available, the question becomes whether we rest anyone in anticipation of the game in Chicago on Saturday.

I think not. Chicago is also playing this week - traveling all the way to San Jose - so they won't be rested either. Plus, while we are away both games, neither trip is very far. Finally, we have an international break immediately after this week, so most of the guys will have a chance to rest for the playoff push.

If we sit anyone, I think it would be because he is less than 100% healthy, and the Club doesn't want to stress the injury with 3 games in 8 days.

I hope we rest Pirlo and TMac.

Possibly the worst but best running gag I've seen on SNL. It's so stupid but perfect in so many ways
